If you are experiencing some issues when testing your microphone when using Google Chrome, this is very likely related to the Adobe Flash Player Plugin. This may impact the microphone from being detected if so, please update Chrome, relaunch and try again.
Allowing Audio and Camera permissions in Google Chrome:
Sometimes Chrome may have the audio and camera permissions enabled/disabled by default. Please update Chrome and make sure the permissions are set to "Ask" like in the screenshot below or you can go to Settings > Advanced > Privacy & Security > Site Settings and scroll down to Camera/Microphone & Flash and select the option to "Ask first" then reload the candidate portal and try again. You will then be able to continue.
You should now be all set for recording your interview. Should you still have problems just get in touch with Sonru Support.
